TEACHER TRAING & WORKSHOP
SUPPORTING ENGLISH TEACHER IN GOLI PRIMARY SCHOOL:
PUM, recently added a teacher in Goli Primary School from 1st February 2009 with objective to improve the educational opportunities available to students attending the GOLI PRIMARY via sponsoring the English Teacher salary of one teacher.Gepchuka is small very beautiful Sherpa village located in the Goli VDC-7, Solukhumbu, where 3 years ago British Citizen Kay Allien helped to build the three class room school with 30 students and only one teacher has been looking after the whole school which found very difficult and lack to provide the quality education.
SPONSORING TEACHERS IN BUDDHA HIGH SCHOOL GOLI, SOLUKHUMBU
In Goli VDC 1 Solukhumbu, Buddha High School is only one high school within the 9 villages having approximately 540 students & annually 45 students getting through the S.L.C. (School Leaving Certificate) graduation, so we are supporting by sponsoring 2 teachers(One English & Science teacher) salaries with envelopment of District Education Office Solukhumbu. This School was established in 2028 AD, more then 3 decade but still Nepal government are not able to support fully due to the lake of permanent political situation & remain at very remote place or many other reasons & at this moment our support remain key top important for the student to get S.L.C. graduation at minimum cost attending from home staying with family members and after S.L.C. at least student will be minimum 17/18 years old and they can go for further education at in Kathmandu on in own accommodation.
